After 15 wonderful months, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our VENLA Avalon store, effective 2 February 2026.

It has been an absolute joy to be part of the beautiful Avalon community. From welcoming local shoppers to helping our sellers give their preloved fashion a second life, the past year has been full of connection, laughter, and style.

Unfortunately, due to high rent and seasonal foot traffic, we see no sustainable way to keep the store open through the winter months. While it’s sad to say goodbye, this decision allows us to focus on our three vibrant and bustling stores — Mosman, Manly and Balmain — all open 7 days a week, as well as our growing VENLA Luxe and online store nationwide.

We are incredibly grateful to:

  • Our amazing Avalon team especially Johnna and Tina for their hard work, dedication and warmth
  • Every customer who shopped with us, sold their preloved items, and supported circular fashion
  • The Avalon community for welcoming VENLA with open arms

To mark the closing, we are hosting a special sale this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so come in and shop beautiful clothing, handbags, shoes, scarves, and belts — your last chance to browse Avalon’s racks of unique preloved fashion!

While Avalon may be closing, our mission remains the same: reducing fashion waste, one frock at a time ♻️. We look forward to seeing you at our other stores and online and consign and shop VENLA Luxe. We thank you for being part of our journey 💛
