This January, VENLA resell+relove turns 5

— and we wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

Five years ago, on 15 January 2021, VENLA Mosman opened its doors with a new concept for Sydney: rent-a-rack to give your preloved fashion a new life and reduce fashion waste.

VENLA began as a COVID pivot, started by two Finnish founders with a shared belief that fashion could be circular, beautiful, and accessible. What began as a bold idea during uncertain times has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined.

Five years on, VENLA:

  • Operates four stores across SydneyMosman, Manly, Balmain and Avalon
  • Employs over 20 people
  • Has helped rehome over 200,000 quality and designer items
  • Has donated over $51,000 to local charities, supporting women and communities in need

Together, we’ve been reducing fashion waste — one frock at a time

Our anniversary thank-you
